Biencaton is making pants for dancing. Handcrafted in limited drops in our Barcelona workshop and sliding around the world since 2016. Stitched slowly, released deliberately, worn for years.
Step 1
Color and materials
Every collection begins with color. Working closely with my local fabric manufacturer, I develop a wide range of shades that, over the years, have grown into my own color library. From it, I choose the palette that sets the mood for each collection.
Step 2
Cutting the fabrics
For each drop, we cut every fabric in every size and every color of the collection, stripes included.
Step 3
Overlocking and Ironing
First we assemble the legs, then we iron and back to overlocking the inseams and the elastic waistband.
Step 4
Coverstitching
Finally, we use the coverstitch machine on both the elastic waistband and the hems to achieve a cleaner finish.
Step 5
Shooting the collection
For each collection, we do two photoshoots. First, product photos in our studio, showing every base color and the multiple combinations. Then, the campaign video and photos, where we get creative and work with different dancers each time.
Step 6
Drawstrings & Revision
After all the pants are sewn, we check that each pair meets our standards and thread the drawstrings by hand, one by one.
Step 7
Inventory
Once they’re ready, we count and log every piece before launching the drop.
Step 8
Drop
Now that the batch is ready, we prepare the email and Instagram post to announce that the drop is out!
Step 9
Shipping
We fill in the forms, print the shipping labels, pack the pants, wait for the pickup… and off they go to you!

Who I am and why I do this. The story of how Biencaton started, why I make every pair of Sliders by hand, and why it’s so much more than a fashion brand: a project that keeps growing with the dancers who wear it and the people who help make it happen.
